傳統戲曲以詩歌體例表演故事，因此「唱」是戲曲主要構成元素之一，加上各地方語言特性與風俗民情之不同，長期以來，便發展出各具特色的聲腔系統。　本課程為基礎術科，以京劇聲腔與語言為主要教授內容，讓同學對傳統戲曲的唱腔、音樂有基本而全面的認識，並能熟悉各種角色行當聲腔技巧，進而訓練學生傳統戲曲經典唱腔的演唱能力及戲曲語言的生腔訓練，增加未來在各種舞台表演的專業性。
The objective of this lecture is to teach how to perform musical pieces in Chinese traditional theatre(Xi qu sheng qiang, Chinease Opera )."

一、本課程係本系表演學群中級表演專業課程。
二、本課程以戲曲表演元素訓練-（戲曲聲腔生、旦、淨、丑行當教唱與生、旦、淨、丑行當之戲曲語言的訓練）為教學內容。
三、課程學習完成後，學生將通過（期末學習唱段單獨歌唱與語言呈現）作為期末學習考核，達到戲曲元素表演能力戲曲聲腔行當歌唱與語言的教學目標。
