崑曲是一個古老的劇種，被目為「百戲之母」，於2001年為聯合國教科文組織列為「人類口述與非物質遺產代表作」，是傳統戲曲中最精緻成熟的藝術典範。本課程將實際引領同學進入崑曲的唱腔與表演，並學習傳統記譜方式、聲腔口法、腔格、肢體語言、表演運用，俾使同學實際經驗崑曲之美感表現，進而有能力作深入的欣賞。
Kun Opera is a type of ancient traditional Chinese drama that was regarded as "mother of all Chinese drama". In 2001, the UNESCO listed Kun Opera as a part of "Human Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity". This course will take the students to learn unique specific details of Kun Opera. The student will learn the traditional musical notation, its vocalization, its body language, and its performance skills. With those
knowledge in mind, the student will have a better understanding and perception of the beauty of kun opera.
