本課程的主要目標是如何將中國戲曲理論化。首先本課程預定一個企圖,將歐洲戲劇理論發展從亞里斯多德,特別是最近的兩百年,呈現給學生,這些理論造成影響創作劇本的形成。第一學期的主要教學對象,以各種一派理論分析劇本,藉以闡釋每一理論的實用性。每一教學單元必與中國傳統戲曲劇本做平行比較,凡不能適應於中國戲曲的西方戲劇裡一概不在教學進度之內;第二學期主要的是中國戲曲理論化,特別是表演體系的建立。這可能是一項開創性教學。 The only purpose of the course is how to work out the Chinese traditional theatre theorized。At the first,the course has an attempt to set before the students the development of theory technique in Europe from Aristotle,particularly,to the last 200 years up to the present time,as have been influential in shaping the form of play。In this aspect,selecting the plays illustrates the effect of each leading critical tradition。 The first semester,each theory or teaching unit,is exemplified by both Western and Chinese plays,and emphasized the applicability of all the selected theories to the Chinese traditional theater;otherwise,to be excluded in the course program。Applying the method of side by side comparative approach,to help the students realize the cultural difference and identities an well。 The second semester,the main point is to work out the Chinese theatre theoried,in particular,the system of Chinese acting and performing,it could be a pioneer teaching program in its field。
